Coleen Rooney has announced she is pregnant with her second child.
The TV presenter and husband, Manchester United footballer Wayne Rooney revealed on Twitter they are expecting a sibling for their son Kai, who turns three next month.
The brunette, 26, is still in her first trimester and is expecting to give birth in May.
Writing on her Twitter page, Coleen gushed: 'A few people guessed, so news is out ha!! Me, Wayne and Kai are thrilled that we are expecting a new addition to our family around May time x.
'It's still only early but bursting with excitement! Also wanted the news to come from us, before anyone else!'
Coleen's announcement was then retweeted by her husband on his Twitter page.
Following the couple's news, Coleen and Wayne were inundated with well wishes on their Twitter pages from celebrity friends Danielle O'Hara, Jude Cisse, Charley Webb and Piers Morgan.
Cheeky Piers tweeted: 'Congratulations on your fabulous news @WayneRooney & @ColeenRoo - and fingers crossed the baby gets its mother's looks...'
Her pregnancy news explains why the WAG has been covered her changing figure with coats or strategically-placed bags in recent weeks.
On Tuesday, she was photographed picking up some beauty products from Space NK in Wilmslow, Cheshire.
There was no sign of her tiny bump as she wrapped up in a black cardigan.
Coleen, who was brought up Catholic, has always spoken of her wish for a large family.
In an interview last year, she said: 'I'd like to have maybe three or four children. I’d be happy to be a full-time mum.'
Coleen gave birth to son Kai in November 2009 at Liverpool Women's Hospital with her husband by her side.
At the time, Wayne was reported to have sobbed after midwives placed the 8lbs 2oz tot in his arms.
The couple were praised for refusing big money deals to show off Kai for the first time in an exclusive magazine deal.
Coleen and Wayne wed in Italy in 2008 after a five year engagement. They started dating when they were 16 years old, when Coleen was still at school.
