As ghosts and goblins prepare to roam the streets on October 31, one makeup artist is dedicating her energy to creating some extravagant faces that will accompany the most elaborate Halloween costumes.
With a background in art and design, Angie Starling has traded her paint brush for a makeup brush to design perfectly plastered visages with exaggerated features and gruesome like details.
With the spooky holiday just around the corner, Starling, whose stage name is Goldie Starling, has revealed how even the amateur can apply her techniques to create these stunning looks.

Starling, who lives in Winston-Salem North, Carolina, is calling her portfolio of elaborate Halloween faces 'a labor of love.'
She design at art school and had applied her creativity to a number of mediums including painting, sculpting, baking, decorating cakes.
But she told the StyleList beauty blog that she developed her love of beauty in the twenties and has thrown her creative talent into working as a makeup artist.

She gives tutorials of how to do her time-intensive looks on her massively popular YouTube channel, which has amassed over 14 million views, and she also posts how to guides for fans on her blog, GoldieStarling's Art of Beauty Blog.

On average, she spends around six to seven hours on her videos for makeup looks but for her spectacular Halloween faces, she spends upwards to 30 hours teaching viewers how to get the look just right.
She described the Halloween how-to-guides, as 'quite the labor of love, At least 20-30 hours per video from conception, to visualization, going an finding products and costumes.'
'It's something I really love to do so it doesn't bother me ... I have a vision and I want to do it.'
Some of the eye-catching looks include a baby doll face, Jake the Ripper murder victim and seductive spider queen.
