Genelia D'Souza surprised her choreographer on the sets of 'Life Partner' when she requested him to include the signature step of the song 'Pappu can't dance' from 'Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na' in the song 'Teri meri ye zindagi'.
"Everyone constantly keeps telling Genelia how popular the song had become and that she grooved so well in the song. So while shooting for this song, Genelia requested choreographer Bosco Caeser if they could include the step. They were taken aback, but understood that it was a sentimental thing and let Fardeen Khan and her use the step," said a source close to the film.
Talking about the song situation, director Rumi Jaffery said: "'Teri meri ye zindagi' is the romantic song picturised on Genelia D'souza and Fardeen Khan in the film newly married and are on their honeymoon."
"Life Partner" also stars Prachi Desai and Tushar Kapoor and is scheduled for an Aug 14 release.
