Rani Mukherjee and Aditya Chopra married secretly!
Bollywood actress Rani Mukherjee and the reclusive producer and YRF scion Aditya Chopra have always been tightlipped about their relationship, and now the buzz is that the two have got married secretly.
According to reports, Rani Mukherjee, 34, and Aditya Chopra, 41, tied the knot around Diwali last year. If true that makes them a married couple for eight months now. But the duo has decided to keep their marriage a secret allegedly because they don’t want to hamper Rani’s acting career.
The actress has two major releases lined up this year: Talaash and Aiyya. The news of her marriage could hurt the box office prospects of these films. Rumour has it that the couple plans to break the news of their marriage after the release of these films.
Meanwhile, Rani Mukherjee already seems to have become a part of the Chopra household.
She recently spent a holiday with Aditya Chopra in London when Yash Raj Film’s untitled movie starring Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif was being shot there. She even celebrated her birthday with Adi.
Moreover, Aditya is learnt to have recently gifted Rani a luxury Audi A8 W12 worth Rs 1.25 crore. The actress is said to be taking personal interest in the workings of Yash Raj Films and is even referred by some of the people there as ‘Bhabhi ji’.
If the rumour of marriage is true, this would be Aditya Chopra’s second marriage. He divorced his first wife Payal in 2009.

Rani Mukerji canceled her first Cannes appearance!
Rani Mukerji, who was all set to make her first Cannes appearance, has decided to cancel her visit owing to her father’s ill health. The news comes a big shocker for Rani fans, who is one of the finest actresses of Bollywood.
Apparently, Rani was all geared up to attend the Cannes Film Festival and had also zeroed in on a Sabyasachi sari.
Rani was all set to attend the prestigious festival on May 18 along with the designer himself.
While the rest of the Bollywood stars opted for western wear, Rani was all set to dazzle the event in traditional Indian dress.
Talking to a daily, a source close the actress confirmed, “Rani won`t be going to Cannes anymore. Her dad is unwell and she doesn`t want to leave him at this point.”

Vidya Balan, Rani Mukerjee shoots on the delhi crowded areas
Vidya Balan and Rani Mukerjee had to shoot in old Delhi’s crowded areas for No One Killed Jessica. But how could that possibly happen without a mob surrounding them when Rani and Vidya are both such popular names? Director of the film, Rajkumar Gupta, who earlier made the Rajeev Khandelwal starrer Aamir, wanted to shoot the film on real lanes with hidden cameras. He wanted to shoot Vidya and Rani as part of the crowd to give an authentic feel to the film. 
He did the same thing with Rajeev while shooting for Aamir in Mumbai. The candid shots with hidden cameras give a better look to the scene. He hadn’t realized the security risk he was undertaking when he asked Rani and Vidya to do it the same way.
He wanted to shoot in jam-packed lanes where vans wouldn’t be able to reach and not usual areas like Chandni Chowk. But he was suddenly very unsure of his plan when they reached the location in a van. He reveals that he was only able to do the shoot only because they assured him. The two actresses got into the crowd and shot for a while until people began to recognize them. Before the problem got out of hand, they would rush into the van and then leave for another place in old Delhi.

Vidya Balan next with Rani
Earlier we had that the ace filmmaker had roped in our light-eyed beauty, Rani Mukherji, in a screen adaptation of Salman Rushdie’s Midnight’s Children. Now the latest update about the film is that Deepa Mehta has included our charming lady, Vidya Balan in the script.
The lady director wants Vidya to feature as Rani’s sister in the film. Vidya is said to be quite elated to bag the offer, especially to work with the director.
However, going by grapevines’ stories, the two beauties, Rani and Vidya, seem to share cold vibes within each other. It all started when director Pradeep Sarkar, whose ‘Parineeta’ launched Balan to fame, chose over Mukherji in his next film ‘Laaga Chunari Mein Daag’. This incident said to have surprised Balan, which also in turn made things sour between the two actresses.
On the other hand, talking about Rani and Vidya Deepa Mehta stated, “I see them as sisters. They are both lovely. I am dying to work with them together.”

Rani Mukherjee Denies Wearing A Bikini
Everybody knows that Rani Mukherjee is wearing a bikini in her upcoming movie “Dil Bole Hadippa” but she is not willing to admit it. She is trying to divert the hype by saying that she has not worn a two piece cloth.
Rani Mukherjee said that ‘bikini’ is too strong a word to describe her attire in “Dil Bole Hadippa”. She added that she has just worn a bikini top with salwar. The actress went on to say that there is no harm trying out different dresses because ‘people want to see you in certain ways when your body is toned up’.
Having lost lots of weight for her role in “Dil Bole Hadippa”. Rani Mukherjee looks ravishing at the moment. She is still trying to reinvent herself as an actor and as a looker even though she has years of experience to boast of. She revealed that she would love to work with directors like Vishal Bhardwaj, Anurag Basu and Imitiaz Ali if they come up with something interesting.
Well, the fate of “Dil Bole Hadippa” at the box office will determine the future course of Rani’s career! She acts with Shahid Kapoor in the movie.

The media has married off Rani Mukherjee to filmmaker Aditya Chopra many a time. She didn't complain. Rumourmongers took advantage of her silence and kept writing about their relationship and marriage without knowing that it's affecting her film career big time.

No marriage on the cards, says Rani
Bollywood ki Rani, Rani Mukherjee is speaking loud and clear about her marriage in media. She makes a strong statement that gossips are fine as long as they do not harm anyone but media’s frequent report of her marriage has harm her career as no filmmaker approached her for a long time for the marriage tag. She added that she is not going to marry now.
Says Rani "There is no marriage on the cards. Not at all, no engagement and no marriage. I think [the press] have been trying to marry me off since the last three years and they are just not able to get a fix on the date. But just to clear the air, there is no marriage and there is none happening in the future also."
Rani added that that she is the only daughter of her parents and she does not want to hurt them by marrying secretly and when she will finally made up her mind to tie the knot, she will make the entire world know about the ceremony.
Currently, Rani Mukherjee is making her comeback in a grand way in Yash Raj’s ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’ with Shahid Kapur.
