Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone leaving for Goa!

With the Jab Tak Hai Jaan rage still verily on in theatres, Shahrukh Khan has now moved on to his next project and flown to Goa for the shoot with Deepika Padukone.

In case you are wondering which project SRK and Deepika are getting busy with: it’s director Rohit Shetty’s Chennai Express which is aimed at next Diwali release. And as is his wont, Rohit Shetty has kicked off the shooting at his favourite location Goa, which by the way is also the hub of a lot of buzz nowadays because of the 43rd International Film Festival of India (IFFI) that’s still going on.

This would be Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s second pairing after Om Shanti Om which introduced Deeps to Bollywood. Since that blockbuster debut, Deepika has always had deep respect for King Khan.

As is evident from these images ahead, the two stars arrived separately at Mumbai airport. Shahrukh Khan, dressed in a sweat-shirt and faded jeans, greeted Deepika with his typical courtesy. Deepika was casually dressed for the flight.

Deepika is looking ahead at a very busy 2013. Apart from the films like Race 2, Kochadaiyaan, and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani that are up for release, the lady is also slated to do a film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan crosses 100 crore in 5 days!

After Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger, Shahrukh Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer movie Jab Tak Hai Jaan which released on November 13, has done superb collections at the Box Office. As per the reports by Trade Analyst, Jab Tak Hai Jaan has crossed the 100 Cr mark worldwide at the Box Office in just 5 days.

The film is doing decent at the Indian Box Office, while is working superb at the overseas BO. "Those asking, yes, #JTHJ *India + Overseas biz* crossed Rs 100 cr mark on Saturday," Taran Adarsh wrote on Twitter. The late filmmaker Yash Chopra's last directorial venture has crossed Rs 75 crore mark at the collection centres across the country in five days. It has become the highest ever collection for any film released on Diwali.

However, Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger, the highest grosser of the year 2012, had collected Rs 103 crores nett at the desi Box Office in the five day extended weekend.

SRK’s ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ first look!

Yash Chopra’s film with Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’  film’s first look .The first look of the film has been released by Yash Raj Films.The film stars Shahrukh Khan as an army officer named Samar Khan. The superstar recently filmed Jab Tak Hai Jaan in Ladakh and Kashmir with co-star Anushka Sharma who plays a chirpy girl. The first schedule of the film was held in London, where Katrina Kaif took part.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan marks the return of Yash Chopra to filmmaking after a gap of 8 years. The film has music by A R Rahman and lyrics by Gulzar.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan will release on November 13, the Diwali weekend.

SRK meets Aaradhya Bachchan

If any last nail was needed to bury the rumours of a rift between Shahrukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan, it was hammered earlier this week when SRK paid a visit to Jalsa to meet Aishwarya Rai’s daughter Aaradhya.

The ever busy man that he is, Shahrukh Khan hadn’t yet had the time to meet Abhishek and Aishwarya’s daughter despite him being among the first ones to congratulate the couple after the news of Aishwarya Rai’s pregnancy broke out last year.

We hear that finally on Wednesday night, Shahrukh was at Hrithik Roshan’s place when he decided to visit the Bachchans. He drove to Jalsa and spent some time playing with Aaradhya. Thereafter, he, Abhishek and Farah Khan (who had also arrived to see Aaradhya) spent a lot of time just chatting away.

The meeting, we hear, lasted till about 1.30 pm.

Shahrukh Khan is presently looking forward to the Yash Chopra film with Katrina Kaif. The superstar also has Rohit Shetty’s Chennai Express in his kitty.

Srk & Katrina Kaif romantic stills!

Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif are in London shooting for Yashraj Films’ untitled project.The two stars recently shot for an intense romantic scene.Some images from the romantic-passionate scene have already started doing the rounds of the internet. For those trying to smell something steamy, let us tell you the scene was shot outdoors and not indoors. Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif are in a lane in London, and the romantic scene features SRK getting close to Kat, while she resists.

These kind of scenes are typical of Shahrukh Khan starrers; the actor has done similar scene with Madhuri Dixit in Dil Toh Pagal Hai, and also with Kajol in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. This time it’s Katrina Kaif’s turn.

In the picture, one can notice that Shahrukh is staring deep into Katrina’s eyes, but the actress is trying to avoid an eye contact, but she is wrested in Shahrukh’s strong arms. The intensity between the two is palpable. We are sure Yash Chopra will once again give the audiences their favourite Khan as the romance king. Shahrukh looks best when he is romantic, and his female fans swear by this. The film also has Anushka Sharma. Anushka was seen enjoying the bike ride with Shahrukh Khan.

SRK to get back his 6-pack abs?

This time Shah Rukh Khan will beef up his body perhaps for more that the song-and-dance routine. In fact his brawny physique would be put to use for some real hardcore action. And why not when Rohit Shetty is at the helm of affairs!

 

The buzz is that Shah Rukh Khan would be working overtime for that perfect physique before he starts shooting for Rohit Shetty’s Chennai Express. Though not much is known about the story of the film, going by Shetty’s style it should be an action-comedy. And for the kind of action that Shetty employs, SRK wants to ensure that he gives his best shot.

Shah Rukh is presently finishing Yash Chopra’s film with Katrina Kaif in London. Once he returns to India, he would start training for Chennai Express.

Ganguly not invited to SRK's party‎?

Shah Rukh Khan recently invited Sourav Ganguly to a party hosted at his home Mannat. Cricketers from Pune Warriors and Deccan Chargers were on the guest list. But an invite to Ganguly (who now plays for Pune) was particularly seen as SRK’s way of mending fences with the Kolkata batsmen who was unceremoniously dropped from KKR this year.

But guess what, Ganguly did not turn up for the party.

A lot of celebs from Bollywood came, like Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Sonali Bendre and a good number of cricketers too. But Ganguly was nowhere in sight.

Guess Ganguly hasn’t forgotten the snub he got from Shahrukh at the time of player selection for this season of IPL. Now a snub from Dada has made the score even.

Asin to romance superstar Shahrukh Khan!

After ‘Ready’ and ‘Housefull 2’, the Ghajini star Asin has grabbed another meaty role. The south sensation will now get an opportunity to romance superstar Shahrukh Khan in Sajid Nadiawala’s ‘2 States’ to be directed by Vishal Bharadwaj. The story is based on Chetan Bhagat’s book.

A source said, "Asin is already a part of ‘Housefull 2’ and hence she often featured in the discussions about the casting for ‘2 States’. Sajid and Asin share a comfortable relationship and the actress was excited to be a part of the film, which not only features Shah Rukh but also will be directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. She is currently out of town but is expected to sign the papers as soon as she lands back in city.”

The source further added, “Vidya Balan too was being considered for the role after Priyanka Chopra, since the female lead in the film is South Indian. Asin fits the bill for the same reason.”

Asin is one such lucky actress who got to romance all the three Khans, Aamir Kahn in ‘Ghajini’, Salman Khan in ‘London Dreams’ and ‘Ready’ and finally Shahrukh Khan in ‘2 States’.
