Deepika Padukone ‘on demand’ for New Year’s Bash !

Come the end of year, there is a lot of buzz on page 3. Be it New Year parties, award ceremonies and other stage shows, the B-town people gets busy and more on demand.

Now, post the success of Cocktail movie, we hear that Deepika’s is in demand for giving a performance on the film’s hit number ‘Angrezi Beat’ (with her Cocktail look too) on award ceremonies and various other events & parties.

Deepika is however too tempted as Cocktail was one of her favourite and wanted to repeat it, she doesn’t have time, as she is too tight with multiple shoots at this particular time.

Dips has been juggling with many projects currently. She has wrapped up on Race 2, for which she has to start promoting. She is shooting for Yeh Jawani Yeh Deewani, Chennai Express, Ram Leela and Kochadaiyaan!

Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone leaving for Goa!

With the Jab Tak Hai Jaan rage still verily on in theatres, Shahrukh Khan has now moved on to his next project and flown to Goa for the shoot with Deepika Padukone.

In case you are wondering which project SRK and Deepika are getting busy with: it’s director Rohit Shetty’s Chennai Express which is aimed at next Diwali release. And as is his wont, Rohit Shetty has kicked off the shooting at his favourite location Goa, which by the way is also the hub of a lot of buzz nowadays because of the 43rd International Film Festival of India (IFFI) that’s still going on.

This would be Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s second pairing after Om Shanti Om which introduced Deeps to Bollywood. Since that blockbuster debut, Deepika has always had deep respect for King Khan.

As is evident from these images ahead, the two stars arrived separately at Mumbai airport. Shahrukh Khan, dressed in a sweat-shirt and faded jeans, greeted Deepika with his typical courtesy. Deepika was casually dressed for the flight.

Deepika is looking ahead at a very busy 2013. Apart from the films like Race 2, Kochadaiyaan, and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani that are up for release, the lady is also slated to do a film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Deepika’s ex-boyfriend Siddharth gone in spiritual way!

This might be a shocker to actress Deepika Padukone and many others. Industrialist Vijay Mallya's son Siddharth Mallya has gone a spiritual way, after his alleged break up with rumoured girlfriend Deepika Padukone.

The dynamic  Sid has recently revealed that he is a certified ordained priest of the Universal Life Church. Siddharth wrote on the twitter, "My certificate confirming that I've been ordained...Can now legally call myself the Rev. Mallya!!" He further wrote, "Apparently I can perform weddings, funerals, baptisms, blessings, & preach, teach and hold meetings...Joey did it in Friends!!!"

Saif is back with romantic comedies!

The urban, cool and metro-sexual Saif Ali Khan will be back in the genre of romantic comedies with his upcoming film Cocktail, directed by Homi Adajania of Being Cyrus fame.

After giving super hits in the same genre like Hum Tum, Salaam Namaste, Kal Ho Na Ho and most recently Love Aaj Kal, Saif plays the character of Gautam, a happy go lucky Delhi guy who loves women in his third home production.

Khan, who is currently holidaying with Kareena Kapoor in London, is called the king of romantic comedies. Saif loves portraying such characters and his fans have loved him in this genre in the past as well.

Illuminati Films’ Dinesh Vijan says that the romantic comedy genre belongs to his leading actor. The producer added that the 41-year-old actor can do such films with ease as his comic timing is phenomenal.

Dinesh and Saif both love this genre and they have worked together successfully in 2009 hit Love Aaj Kal and now Cocktail which hits theaters in the UK on 13th July.

Deepika Padukone is the sexiest Indian woman

Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh is one of the first celebrity bachelors to shoot for the show, India’s Sexiest Bachelor that will soon air on the BIG CBS channels. According to the actor, who is currently filming Players, his colleague Deepika Padukone is the sexiest single Indian woman alive. Among the international celebrities, he finds Kim Kardashian stunning and thinks she is bestowed with a perfect combination of brains and beauty.

“I think Deepika is the sexiest Indian woman alive. She carries herself beautifully, is gorgeous and independent. She’s grace personified and has everything that a man desires in a woman,” Neil says, shyly, after much prodding. “I’ve worked with her in Lafangey Parindey (2010). She’s a brilliant colleague to have. And lucky is the man who gets her.”

Wouldn’t he like to be the man in her life then? Single-man Neil laughs and says, “She’s a buddy and I wish her well. This thought has never run through my mind. If she reads this, I hope she doesn’t get me wrong.”

The 29-year-old actor, once reportedly engaged, believes that his sex appeal lies in the mystery that surrounds him. “I like the fact that no one knows my next move. In my case, even if they start guessing they won’t know what is on my mind and in my heart,” Neil says with a grin. “That is what sex appeal means to me.”

When was the first time that a girl found him sexy? Neil recalls it was at age 16. “Till then, I didn’t interact much with girls. There was a girl right behind me in the queue to submit admission forms at college,” he reminisces. “After the submission, she met me at the college gate and said, ‘You’re so sexy’. She left before I could react. I haven’t met her ever again. But her compliment keeps coming back to me.”
